Returns & Refunds Policy

v2026.1Effective: August 20, 2026

Formulated under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

1. Scope of Precision Manufacturing Returns

Unlike off-the-shelf commercial retail goods, parts ordered through Wesker are custom-fabricated to customer-supplied CAD files, drawings, and engineering tolerances (e.g., ISO 2768-m, DIN 16901). Because parts are bespoke, returns are governed by technical defect verification, dimensional out-of-spec claims, and material test certificates (MTC).

2. The 7-Day Buyer Inspection Window

Upon physical carrier delivery, the buyer has a statutory 7-calendar-day inspection window. During this window, total order funds remain 100% safeguarded in platform escrow. The buyer may:

  • Inspect physical parts against provided technical CAD specifications and drawing tolerances.
  • Verify surface finish (Ra), thread pitches, and material hardness.
  • Confirm receipt and authorize escrow payout release via one-time delivery OTP.
  • Open a formal dispute if parts fail dimensional inspection or exhibit structural damage.

3. Grounds for Full Escrow Refund or Free Remake

A buyer is entitled to an immediate 100% refund of escrow funds or a free priority remake if:

  • Critical dimensions exceed stated drawing tolerances by more than specified allowable limits.
  • Wrong material was utilized (e.g., PLA supplied instead of requested PETG/ABS, or standard Aluminum instead of 6061-T6).
  • Parts suffered transit damage due to substandard packaging by the fabricator.
  • The seller failed to ship within 5 business days past the agreed lead-time deadline without buyer consent.

4. Refund Processing SLA

Approved refunds are credited directly back to the original source instrument (UPI ID, NetBanking, Debit/Credit Card) via our payment gateway partner Cashfree within 2 to 4 business banking days from dispute resolution.

5. Statutory Grievance Redressal

If a refund dispute cannot be mutually resolved between maker and buyer within 72 hours, it escalates to our designated Grievance Officer pursuant to Rule 3(2) of the IT Rules, 2021. You may file a statutory complaint directly at our Grievance Desk or emailgrievance@wesker.in.
